I have been interested in art most of my life. When I was a child I traced cartoons and comic books. I used an old family typewriter to write captions for pictures that I cut out from magazines and newspapers and glued them to paper. Often I stapled the papers together to make books.
As I got older I took an interest in street signs, letter forms and the enormous amount of signage...
